Who are we?

Evan Brodsky co-founder, playwright​

Evan Brodsky is a queer Brooklyn based playwright and actor. His full length plays include The Glass Between Stars (The Tank, 2024; New York Theater Festival, 2021, Winner of Most Creative New Play; Semi Finalist, ScreenCraft Stageplay Competition 2025), Kaleidoscope (Semi-Finalist, Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, 2022), The Memory Centre (reading with Dovecote Reading Series) and For(e)bear (staged reading at The Brooklyn Center for Theatre Research, 2025). His 10-minute play Astronauts premiered at the Fresh Fruit Festival in 2025. Alum: NYU Tisch Drama, William Esper Studio evanbrodsky.com

Sarah Connolly co-founder, director​

Sarah Connolly is a NYC-based theater director with a mission to facilitate creative environments rooted in generosity. A graduate of Wesleyan University in 2019 with Honors in Comparative Politics and Civic Engagement, she uses her academic background to help her tell stories that are in conversation with the moment through which we are living. Recent directing credits include The Betrothed by Scarlett McCarthy (The Tank), The Glass Between Stars by Evan Brodsky (The Tank), Running After Bobby by Adam Krarr (Ensemble Studio Theatre), and Mouse Trap by Annick Gerard (New York Theatre Festival). She is currently writing and developing her first full-length play, Immaculate.​

Carly Gilmore co-founder, stage manager​​

Carly Gilmore is a Brooklyn-based stage manager who loves theater, being on time, and knows stage right from stage left. Her recent work includes Loneliness Was a Pandemic by Olivia Haller at Theaterlab NYC (ASM), [title of show] at Frigid New York (ASM), Morning Journal and The Mountain That Echoes Back by Matthew Gasda at the Brooklyn Center for Theater Research (PSM),The Glass Between Stars by Evan Brodsky at the Tank (PSM), and Donnie & Greg for the SoHo Playhouse Lighthouse Series (PSM). She is passionate about developing new works, particularly those that center queer stories, and the complexities that are human relationships. Outside of the theater you can find her pranking all of her friends.

Our mission is to create accessible theater that extends beyond the final curtain, inspiring reflection and encouraging audiences to engage with new ideas.
